Surfing

Teapot lane is the ideal base for your surf break – just 5 mins from several surf breaks our local town Bundoran has been described in the Stormrider Guide as “ the surfers paradise”.  The immediate area offers a wealth of breaks both reef and beach.  This combination provides the ideal opportunity for everyone to enjoy one of our most natural assets – from the simple beginner to the top professional.

Bundoran has also been the proud host to various European championshipsand the 2001 Quicksilver world masters.

If you are worried about the cold Donegal Bay benefits from the warm waters of the gulf stream churning their way up from the Med, making it one of the warmer spots in Ireland!

Horseriding

Teapot Lane has 3 established and respected equestrian schools right on our doorstep.  With horses and ponies of all sizes to suit everybody including the absolute beginner, all the horses have excellent temperaments. There is nothing like a stress free hack down a country lane to emerse you in the country holiday experience!

Guided Hillwalks

Teapot Lane provide guided hillwalks…  Explore the famous dartry range which is steeped in legends of the fianna.  Our guide is friendly and informative and has historic knowlege as well as having knowlege on the local  flora and fauna.

 

Foraging around Teapot Lane

Teapot Lane foraging is a fun activity for groups,  A local expert will bring you on a little foraging trip around Teapot Lane!  A great oppertunity to learn about all the interesting plants on our doorstep.  This involves identifying all the different wild plants and fungi we take for granted and learning of their culinary and medicinal uses.  The trip is informative and fun and will include a light lunch.
